Fine Arts

At MPA, we courageously believe in creativity. We embrace, support, and nurture the inherent ability of all children to be makers, thinkers, and expressive human beings and place great emphasis on arts education. Having our students engaged in the visual and performing arts at every division isn't just about fostering an appreciation for the arts. It's about helping students develop the ability to practice perseverance, develop ingenuity, and understand that ideas can be expressed in more than just words. Through authentic experiences as musicians, artists, and performers, each student has the opportunity to maximize their artistic potential, build confidence, and create beauty.

Fine Arts is an integral part of the growth and development of every student, K-12, at Mounds Park Academy. Visual Arts, Theatre Arts, Vocal and Instrumental Music support and enrich the life of our student body by nurturing the aesthetic spirit inherent in each student. Literacy in the arts develops an appreciation and understanding of artistic concepts particular to each discipline. Through authentic experiences as performers, musicians and artists we strive to have each student maximize their potential.
